MAINTENANCE MANAGERRef: CXP099/2024Location: KwaDukuza, StangerTo undertake and be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the Company.Salary: R55 000 – R60 000 TCTC - based on exp and qualificationsDept: Landfill, Logistics and LTPMain Duties Include:Ensure all maintenance and fabrication work meet the required quality standards.Responsible for the security and OHS Act regarding maintenance and repairs.Responsible for the workshop on site.Preventative and planned maintenance; and electrical maintenance.Replacement installation, refurbishment, and repairs tasks.Manage documentation of asset registers, service reports, and calibration work.Knowledge of PLC and SCADA programming and maintenance.Oversee suppliers and contractors.Manage department personnel.Inspect plant electrical equipment and maintain inventory.Keep informed of new technology, trends, and techniques.Criteria:Grade 12 + Qualification in Millwright, Electrical Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer.Strong mechanical experience.Electric control and instrumentation experience.3 - 5 years' relevant experience in maintenance.Knowledge of landfill maintenance is an advantage.Computer literate (Google Workspace, MS Office).Knowledge of PLC and SCADA programming and maintenance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Be available for shut-downs and 24-hour stand-by duties.
