A plastic manufacturing company specializing in large moulds that make tables, chairs, crates, etc, seeks a Maintenance Manager with at least 10 years of plastics experience, a technical qualification and hands-on experience maintaining large mould production equipment.
Skills required:
Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial roleExperience in planning maintenance operationsSolid understanding of technical aspects of injection mouldingWorking knowledge of facilities machines and equipmentAbility to keep track of and report on activityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Responsibilities:
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementationCarry out inspections of machines, equipment and the facilities to identify and resolve issuesPlan and oversee all repairsAllocate workload and supervise maintenance teamMonitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessaryMonitor expenses and control the budget for maintenanceManage relationships with contractors and service providersKeep maintenance logs and report on daily activitiesEnsure health and safety policies are complied with
