Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Maintenance: Execute scheduled and ad-hoc mechanical maintenance on all machines in the assembly areas, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.Safety First: Maintain the highest level of safety standards, conducting machine inspections to identify and rectify areas of non-compliance with the OHS Act and regulations.Commitment to Excellence: Uphold company-specific 5S housekeeping standards, fostering a culture of cleanliness and organization in the Maintenance Workshop and Factory.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Factory and Maintenance Workshop, seeking out opportunities to enhance processes and optimize efficiency.Minimum RequirementsTrade Tested Professional: Hold a trade-tested Fitter qualification with a minimum N3 qualification.Industry Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing environment.Safety Focus: Possess a strong safety culture, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your colleagues at all times.Analytical Skills: Knowledge of hazard identification and risk analysis, coupled with strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
