Position: Pipe FitterLocation: Stellenbosch (Must be able to commute to and from)Job Type: PermanentMinimum Qualifying Criteria:MatricNational Certificate: Mechanical Engineering: Pipe-Fitting or related qualification2-3 years experience with Water filtration plants & pipe fitting.Valid Driver's LicenseOpen to travelBasic computer experience (MS Office Suite)English and Afrikaans (Preferred)Roles and Responsibilities:Client communication and site inspections.Servicing of our Water filtration plants, i.e., knowledge of membranes, bag filters, pumps, and motors.Chemical handling.Plumbing experience.Perform all diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.Install, upgrade, and maintain water purification equipment.Maintenance of plants on site.Basic electrical knowledge, fault finding, and repairs on site.Complete the job task checklist in an accurate and timely manner.Assist other employees with delivery and installation of products/equipment. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.Communicate in a positive manner with co-workers and customers to maintain positive public relations for the company.Self-time management.
