Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the maintenance activities within the manufacturing department.
Conduct root cause analysis to address equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
Design and develop maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to optimize operations.
Ensure that all machinery and equipment are continuously monitored and maintained to prevent breakdowns.
Administer and control the department's maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Respond to equipment faults and perform routine scheduled maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve breakdown problems efficiently.
Oversee the installation of new parts, ensuring equipment operates correctly.
Conduct quality inspections on completed maintenance tasks.
Maintain and manage maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act within the department.
Execute ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Maximize plant availability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Demonstrated expertise in the implementation and management of maintenance systems.
At least 3–5 years of experience working in a fast-paced FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
Proficiency in PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, AC inverters, and servomotor systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong self-motivation and discipline in executing tasks.
Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
