The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing packaging equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity. The Maintenance Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise with the equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and managing spare parts inventory.ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections of packaging equipment and machineryRepair and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performanceTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement solutionsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programsManage spare parts inventory and order necessary suppliesTrain and mentor maintenance techniciansEnsure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the packaging industryStrong knowledge of packaging equipment and machineryExperience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of safety and environmental regulations
