IntroductionOur client in the FMCG industry is seeking a Sales Representative. The Sales Representative will be responsible for the execution of sales initiatives and the achievement of distribution and volume targets within a geographical area in core and / or main market (including urban and/or township areas).Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaximize visibility of relevant SKUs and brand communication to the consumer by executing the required merchandising principals in each outlet.Negotiate the listing of all key SKUs in the allocated outlets in the area to ensure the agreed distribution targets are met.Prevent any possible out-of-stock situations and drive the company's volume targets by ensuring adequate stock, understaffing, and utilizing provided tools at retailers/wholesalers in the area.Drive price relativity with key competitor brands in the allocated outlets at outlet-level through negotiations.Execute the implementation of national and/or regional programs/agreements at outlet-level as per business targets and program/agreement mechanics through negotiation.Foster true partnerships in the allocated outlets in the area, aiming for a triple win (the company, customer, consumer) by building in-trade relationships.Assist the business in decision making by collecting, interpreting, and providing feedback on trade and industry information.Fulfil any other tasks required by the business.Desired Experience & QualificationDiploma / other relevant education in SalesMinimum 2 years of FMCG experienceFluency in EnglishProficiency in MS OfficeIn addition to the minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate for this role should reside in the Nelspruit area. They should be prepared to travel long distances as part of their duties and be willing to spend time away from home when required by business needs.
