DutiesManaging Machine shop daily OEE.Managing available manpower.Managing Industrial relations within the machine shop.Working with maintenance to eliminate down time in Machine shop.Ensuring everyone complies to health and safety regulations in Machine shopWorking with Programmer to Continuously improve cycle times.Weekly ERS submissionsChairing and managing Daily MBU meetingAttending and updating Weekly production meetingsEnsuring relevant operator training is conductedDoing 5Y investigations on scrap produced (drive to reduce scrap)Managing tooling in machine shop (controlling cost)Controlling machine cutting Fluids (coolant)Minimum requirementsMatric certificateProduction management diploma/qualification will be an advantage.Organisational skills (office and factory)Strong supervisory skillsMasterCAM (CAD / CAM) experience essential.Computer literate and skilledMicrosoft office essentialTrade test (beneficial)Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
