Production Manager - Ingredients

Responsibilities: Receiving and unpacking of containersDispatching of client orders to clients based both in South Africa and other African countries. In the case of deliveries using company vehicles and company drivers the routes to be planned and monitored to ensure optimum use of company vehicles. Including preparation of all delivery notes and the filing of all delivery notes signed by clients and company drivers and couriers.Month-end stock count of all raw materials finished goods and packaging materialProduction of all blends and repacking. This includes forward planning aligned with clients forecast and sales history to ensure on-time deliveries and optimum stock on hand.Work with Technical manager to re-work slow moving stock.Work with Technical manager to correct blends when not conforming to the standards.Oversee the maintenance of all production machinery and delivery vehicles. Monthly production report.HSE including the full compliance of FSSC 22000.Together with Quality Control to manage client audits.Part of the Food Safety TeamProduction Blends sheets Pickings and RepackingRequirements:Grade 125-10yrs exp in ingredient blendingManagement experienceFood Safety knowledgeOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
