Logistics Supervisor / Manager We are looking for a capable Logistics Supervisor / Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our supply chain processes.
The role involves managing storage, inventory, and the distribution, ensuring that all logistics activities are carried out efficiently and accurately.Responsibilities:Supervise and manage logistics operations, including warehouse management, stock control, transportation, and delivery services.Monitor and optimize inbound and outbound delivery processes, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.Coordinate with logistics service providers and negotiate service terms as needed.Maintain accurate records of stock levels, delivery times, and transportation costs, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.Organise warehouse operations, including planning routes and processing shipments.Conduct regular stock counts, manage discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory records.Implement and oversee receipt, invoicing, and proof-of-delivery controls to minimise errors and complaints.Address and resolve issues related to shipments and logistics operations.Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse and dispatch staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures and performance targets.Analyse logistics performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Requirements:Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain role, with knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations, including warehouse management and transportation.Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a team.Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software; experience with Sage is a plus.Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmenA relevant degree or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.If you meet all of the above criteria, please send your CV to ******  Please note: due to high volume responses, only candidates that meet the advertised criteria will be contacted.
