Logistics Manager

The suitable candidate main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer servicesDirect, optimize and coordinate full order cycleLiaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumersKeep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencyArrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipmentsResolve any arising problems or complaintsSupervise, coach and train warehouse workforceMeet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targetsMaintain metrics and analyses data to assess performance and implement improvementsComply with laws, regulations and ISO requirementsPreferred Qualifications/Attributes/Skills:Grade 12 or equivalent qualificationProven working experience as a Logistics ManagerRecord of successful distribution and logistics managementDemonstrable ability to lead and manage staffProficient in standard logistics softwareExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and handle multiple projectsBS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply ChainMS Office programs proficiency (extreme good knowledge of Excel)Clean disciplinary, criminal, and credit recordPrepared to work additional hours when requiredMust have pride within his/her area of responsibility, department, and company in generalOwn reliable transport
