Logistic documentation for freight forwardersLiaising with product coordinators to know how many containers were packed at the pack houses and destined for specific vessels and clients.Following up with freight forwarders regarding deadlines, protocol, and vessels dueChasing and verifying loading information and container information with loading depotsVerifying all export documentation/information is correct and sending it to the forwarders timeouslyFollowing up with freight forwarders regarding outstanding or incorrect documentationExtracting information from Dipar to generate SI or addendum information for submission to Freight ForwardersBeing aware of the different requirements for different commodity groups and areas.Handling logistics invoices including but not limited to shipping line landside and freight, storage, transport, and documentationCapturing actual logistical supply chain (transport, freight, and storage) costs on the business system DiparMaintaining good communication with logistics service providers.Acting as Health & Safety officer - ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and arranging for necessary documentation and productsCommunicating internally with employees to ensure accuracy and efficiency of internal operationsResponding to any logistical/operational queriesReviewing logistics service provider invoices and costsExtracting information from Dipar and comparing it with received logistics invoices to ensure alignmentChecking logistics invoices to verify that charged amounts align with agreed rates and ensuring Commercial Coordinators check and Commercial Managers sign off before payment;Reconciling month-end statements for logistics invoices with the system and preparing weekly/monthly service provider paymentsQualifications:A Degree or diploma in Logistics Management or related qualification is preferred.Minimum of 2 years experience working in the Fruit Export IndustryComputer literate with experience in Outlook, Excel, and an export system, e.g., Dipar.How to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to******.If you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
