Logistics Coordinator

Matric and minimum of 3 - 4 years logistics co-ordination experience is essential Local road freight experience is essential MS Office is essential SAP or similar ERP system will secure Duties: You will manage the customer relationship (management of orders, contracts, disputes) and ensures control of margins related to contracts and customer orders. Ensure the satisfaction of the customers at all times Validate and record customer orders. Analyze stocks and make material allocations, i.e. Ensure correct material and batch number is allocated, consider FIFO basis. Manage end-to-end customer orders (registration, review of deadlines, allocate material, arrange freight, invoicing of orders, Freight invoice approvals, closing of provisions, raise any material irregularities, ). Keep customers informed of the status and progress of their orders. Work closely with 3rd party Warehouse and Transport service providers. Analyze and deal with disputes with internal and external contacts. Raise the dysfunctions that cannot be managed at its level or that could impact other suppliers / customers outside its scope. Participate in innovation and continuous improvement projects Quality of communication and customer orientation, "solution oriented"; SAP knowledge and experience would be an advantage; Flexibility while demonstrating rigor in compliance with applicable procedures
