Logistics Coordinator (Fruit Exports)

Our client in the Fruit Exports industry is looking for a Logistics Coordinator (Fruit Industry) to join their dynamic team in Somerset West.Responsibilities:Manage bookings, including shipment details, customer information, and special requirements.Coordinate logistics.Follow up on shipments.Day-to-day management and arrangements with shipping lines and transporters.Coordinate with cold store.Send loading instructions to depots.Monitor and track shipments, keeping customers informed of the progress and addressing any delays or issues.Prepare and process necessary documentation, such as shipping orders, invoices, and customs paperwork.Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and requirements.Handle administrative tasks related to bookings, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records.Assist in resolving any billing discrepancies or disputes related to bookings.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fruit exports.Contribute to the continuous improvement of booking processes and procedures.Stock management.Daily reports to suppliers and receivers.Qualifications:Matric with Logistics degree or similar.Previous experience in the fruit export industry will be beneficial.Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and shipping regulations.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and documentation.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping.Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.Problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that may arise during bookings.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Please forward your CV to ******: www.zeminwe.co.zaLinkedIn: https://za.linkedin.com/company/zeminweFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/Zeminwe/
