There are currently only a handful of companies producing similar product worldwide, so Mobius is well positioned for local and global expansion.Mobius is looking for a Logistics Controller that will be able to oversee all administrative, inventory and ordering, and logistics aspects of the business.An ideal candidate should have a "self starter" type mind set as this is a start-up company. The working environment is flexible and sometimes unstructured, so the candidate should be able to work on their own and be able to "make a plan".Having a vehicle will be an advantage. As Mobius is a young company, the position is able to expand with the company.Candidate RequirementsCharacter requirements in order of priority:Self starter and work without supervisionWork under pressure and multi taskStrong organizational skills and process drivenDemonstrate a practical understanding of basic engineering / renewable energy applicationsAbility to work with clients5 years experience as an office managerNeeds referencesTasks to be performedAs Mobius is a start-up, it is difficult to fully scope the tasks that may be necessary, but the tasks will include the following:Inventory & OrderingUnderstanding the stock itemsMeasuring inventory levels for certain products (approx. 50 stock items)Ordering parts from suppliers (approx. 15 different suppliers)Receiving supplies and putting into stockFollowing up on ordered partsDeveloping a system to keep track of stock items and inventory controlOrganizing couriers to deliver our product to clients (2-3 x per month)Booking flights, car and accommodation for staff (1 – 2 x per month)Report writing – end of month need management reports for clientsRead data from our internal portal and put into spreadsheetsManagement reportsKeeping office supplies stockedScheduling of deliveriesSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and Manufacturing
