AVIOCRUIT - City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South AfricaLogistics ControllerCoordinate Steri shipments, which involves checking and submitting the reefer manifest and the reefer tracking report to PPECB and reefer monitoring company (currently Genesis) within 24 hours of vessel loading.Issue Steri and Step-Up letter to CPT OPS within 24 hours of vessel loading.Receive temperature downloads from monitoring agent during stack, check, and forward to PPECB.Monitor temperature settings twice daily in port and onboard, ensuring all settings are within range. Address any deviations immediately with the vessel or reefer technician.Inform International HQ reefer team and customers of any issues and implement repairs or corrective measures as necessary.Instruct vessel Master to adjust temperature set points according to protocol requirements.Attend seasonal PPECB meetings to stay updated on procedures and protocols.Liaise with PPECB for special attendance needs, such as signing off equipment after hours.Attend industry meetings for product updates and changes.Receive and consolidate daily stock reports from depots, checking and submitting to CPT and DUR LOG.Ensure empty stock turnaround time does not exceed 20 days and arrange for repositioning if necessary.Conduct monthly depot visits and present reports to management within 24 hours.Assess damages to containers at terminals or depots as required.Procure and manage USDA sensor/probe stock for steri-shipments and submit weekly reports to Operations Director.Regularly monitor stock of seals and probes, ensuring timely delivery to depots.Collect and supply vessels with reefer spares as instructed by International HQ.Coordinate with International HQ to ship bolt and strip seals and probes; instruct clearing agent for collection upon vessel arrival in CPT.Manage GP & Reefer full claims, informing HQ Claims of damages and arranging inspections with relevant parties.Liaise with CPT Freight for customs document processing and container holds.Review and authorize invoices for empties and repairs monthly.Assist Branch Manager with weekly equipment forecast and reefer reports as required.Support CPT Ops in their absence by submitting vessel forecasts and daily reports to relevant parties.Assist ships agents with husbandry and export pre-advises for Navis updates.Send after-hours duty staff contact list every Friday.Update LMS fees report monthly and send to Finance.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesAirlines and Aviation
