Logistics Controller

Cross Border Road transport controller minimum 3 Years experienceVast knowledge of Export documents ( SAD500, VOC,RIT, ECO TERMS)Know your transporters and negotiate the best ratesComputer Literate intermediate to advance in ExcelPrepare daily tracking reports to clients and/or agentsEnsure documents are sent to the border agencies timeouslyTracking and monitoring of vehicles at all times inhousePrepare collection routes for driversWeekly Load planningPrepare documents of payments (PODS, INV, STATEMENTS) Ensuring loading of vehicles are done correctly.Supervisor all loads and ensure safety of cargo always,Arrange goods to be returned if needs beFollow up on vehicle delays including border problems till truck offloaded.Loading Instructions from clients, including making order/maps for drivers to load, ensure vehicle details are sent to client.Managing fuel consumptionEnsuring that constant contact and communication is maintained at all times with clients / suppliers/transportersContinuous communication, support and guidance to be communicated to driver

Desired Experience & Qualification - Minimum Matric (Grade 12)- Diploma or degree in Logistics- Mathematics results to be considered- Proven work experience in position- Negotiating skills- Able to work under pressure- Must be deadline orientated- Sage (evolution) knowledge will be an advantage
