Logistics Controller/ Coordinator (Road Freight)

Join us on this exciting journey as we redefine logistics excellence!Job FunctionExpediting and scheduling of loads and vehicles.Key Performance AreasDaily receiving and processing of transport orders.Daily planning, routing, and scheduling of vehicles.Risk management – ensuring all loads are adequately insured and that high-value loads are monitored from loading to delivery.Adhering to booking slots for direct deliveries.Daily measurement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in accordance with each client's Service Level Agreement (SLA).Day-to-day building and management of service-driven and professional relationships with all key contacts at clients, warehouse, loading points, delivery points, and subcontractors.Administration function – feed all load data into TMS; reconciliation of PODs; in-transit claims recording and investigation.Skills and Experience RequiredMinimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar controller position.Excellent communication skills – daily contact with clients, dispatch teams, delivery points, subcontractors, and drivers.Computer literacy – experienced in working on transport operational systems, MS Word, PowerPoint, and above-average MS Excel skills.Well versed in e-mail etiquette and MS Outlook with good writing skills.A professional and service-driven approach to dealing with clients and service providers alike.Neat and punctual with the natural ability to organize.The ability & willingness to work long hours and within strict collection and delivery time constraints.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
