As a Lodge Support Manager, you'll support multiple lodges by coordinating tasks, managing incidents, and ensuring smooth operations from a central office. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on lodge experience who is ready to step into a strategic, office-based position within the hospitality industry.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent from a reputable & recognized Hotel School (Beneficial)
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a junior manager in a 4/5 star lodge (Essential)
Good understanding of all functions within a lodge operation
Excellent Customer Relations
Professional and well-groomed
MUST be of sober habits
Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Capability to work under pressure and respond quickly to communication requests
Proficiency in using digital communication tools and email
Adaptability and a deep understanding of the ecotourism sector
Commitment to maintaining accurate records and data integrity
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Responsibilities:
Promptly acknowledge and respond to alert messages and emails
Engage with clients quickly to establish strong and reliable relationships
Ensure situational awareness by accurately gathering and sharing incident information
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all notifiable events to support effective risk management
Provide guidance on the proper reporting and categorization of notifiable events
Communicate incidents, their implications, and associated risks clearly and effectively
Coordinate incident responses, provide timely updates, and keep all stakeholders informed
Manage task-related information connected to incidents
