Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to step into the role of Lodge Manager at a prestigious game reserve in Northern KwaZulu-Natal. This unique opportunity offers the chance to lead operations within a conservation-focused environment, combining high-level management with the beauty of nature.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth functioning of all lodge departments.
Manage guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, stock control, and food and beverage operations.
Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare financial reports.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain high service standards, address guest concerns promptly, and enhance guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with marketing teams and partners to drive occupancy and revenue optimization.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a 5-star lodge or luxury hotel/resort.
Proven success in lodge operations, financial management, and staff leadership.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems.
A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
