Lodge Manager

Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in a Big 5 reserve and 5-star lodge is necessary Minimum 2 years experience in lodge management and the willingness to manage a small team of staff and guide guests FGASA NQF2/4 preferably with trails qualification All guide documents up to date including PrPD & First Aid Maintenance experience (vehicle & lodge) essential The ability to oversee housekeeping Extensive FOH and hosting experience Valid driver's license (both) essential Must have sound knowledge of MS Office Must be extremely guest-focused, living and driving luxury standards Excellent communications skills, practising honest communication Must be proactive, positive and have a hands-on/can-do attitude Excellent time management and self-disciplined, with emotional control and must be committed, loyal, and flexible Must have leadership skills with a passion for skills development Must be able to do basic food prep as and when needed for guests (the role does not require intensive cooking) Must want to take the property into your own hands and drive the business as if it were your own This is a small team, and the candidate should be an all-rounder and understand that the role is to be hands-on in all departments and aspects Live-in position with medical aid and provident fund contributions.
