Seeking a dynamic and experienced couple to join our team as a Hunting Lodge Management Couple. This unique
opportunity requires one candidate to be a professional hunter with exceptional skills and knowledge in hunting
techniques and wildlife management, while the other candidate should possess strong managerial and
organizational abilities to oversee the lodge operations.
Responsibilities for the Hunting Lodge Management Couple will include:
Professional Hunter:
- Lead guided hunting trips and ensure the safety, satisfaction, and success of guests.
- Conduct wildlife management activities, including game monitoring, population control, and habitat
improvement.
- Provide expertise in hunting techniques, firearm safety, and local hunting regulations.
- Maintain and repair hunting equipment and firearms.
- Ensure compliance with all hunting laws and regulations.
Lodge Manager:
- Oversee all aspects of lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the professional hunter to plan and coordinate hunting trips.
- Manage lodge finances, including budgeting and expense control.
Requirements for the Hunting Lodge Management Couple:
Professional Hunter:
- Extensive experience as a professional hunter, with a deep understanding of hunting techniques and wildlife
management.
- Excellent knowledge of local hunting laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and provide guidance.
- Ability to work in outdoor and challenging environments.
Lodge Manager:
- Previous experience in lodge or hospitality management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Both candidates must have a passion for the outdoors and a deep respect for wildlife conservation.
- Ability to work together as a team and maintain a positive working relationship.
- Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid hunting and firearms licenses.
Salary: R 40 000 per month (combined)
