Job DescriptionFarm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Farm Manager to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the farm, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.Develop and implement strategies to improve farm productivity and profitability.Manage and maintain a high level of animal health and welfare.Supervise and train farm staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.Monitor and control farm expenses, ensuring they are within budget.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve farm operations.Requirements:Agricultural Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 4 years of experience in livestock farming, with a strong background in cattle farming.Pasture management experience and strong stockmanship skills.Ability to lead and work with a team, with excellent communication and management skills.Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
