PB Liquor Merchants supplies wines to the liquor on-consumption market through its association with a major national distributor. PB Liquor Merchants is seeking to appoint the services of a competitive Sales Representative who is passionate about wine, beers, and spirits, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties will include:Market developmentPlan sales calls, routes, and servicing cycles to meet customers and promote productsCustomer relationship managementPlan and coordinate product promotions & support supplier-initiated activation marketing campaignsPlan and implement sales incentive programmesMonitor & analyse sales performance trendsReport on results of campaigns, incentive programmes, and sales performance, and make recommendations for improvementStock planning & controlProvide input to problem solving in the supply and distribution chainAll other duties related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:Matric; a relevant tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantageMinimum 5 years' experience in liquor sales to the on-consumption marketKnowledge of wine, beer, and spirits categories and consumption preferencesProven track record in meeting customer growth and product sales targetsExcellent computer literacy (MS Office)Driver's license and own reliable transportWillingness to travel and work flexible hours (overtime and some weekends - festivals, etc.)
