Were seeking a dedicated Liquidation and Business Rescue Specialist to take charge of our clients' Business Rescue and Liquidation cases. In this pivotal role, youll manage and oversee all aspects of these matters, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between Liquidators and Business Rescue Practitioners. Your role will involve guiding clients through every step of the insolvency process, from advising them on claim submissions to attending creditors meetings and delivering critical updates on the outcomes. As a specialist, youll provide insightful and realistic assessments on the potential for success throughout the process. Job Description The employees duties shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: Oversee and manage all Business Rescue and Liquidation files for clients, including guiding them through the process and handling the related administrative tasks. Assist clients in completing claim forms and ensure their submission to Liquidators and Business Rescue Practitioners. Follow up with relevant parties to ensure the timely receipt of necessary requested documents. Summarise reports on Business Rescue and Liquidation matters and provide clients with updates on their claims progress. Attend creditors meetings related to Business Rescue and Liquidations and offer timely feedback to clients. Serve as a liaison among Liquidators, Business Rescue Practitioners, clients, and internal staff. Escalate issues to the Legal Manager as needed. Prepare and present statistical reports to the Legal Manager in a clear and concise manner. Candidates are required to execute instructions, be able to adapt to change and have a willingness to learn. What we are looking for: Educational Background: Matric completion is essential. A formal legal qualification or substantial practical experience in Insolvency Law is highly preferred. Experience: Knowledge of finance and experience in the field of Insolvency Law will be advantageous. Skills: You should have an impeccable eye for detail and be proficient in both Afrikaans and English.
