The IIE's Varsity College, Sandton Campus has Part Time vacancies for lecturers in the School of Education for the following: Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching.Competencies Required: Communication SkillsOrganisational SkillsEffective Classroom ManagementOpen to DevelopmentMinimum Qualification Requirements: A minimum of a 4-year BEd degree plus, an Honours (BEd Hons) OR Humanities/Arts/Social Science Honours OR Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8).The Undergraduate Qualification OR the Honours OR The Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF 8), must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.The Undergraduate Qualification or Postgraduate Qualification must include component subjects to at least NQF level 6 (usually the 2nd year of study) – English as a major.Minimum Work Experience Requirements: School Teaching Experience in component subjects (Required).Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).Training & Development: 3 years (Required).Teaching: 3 years (Required).Working Conditions: Owing to the volume of CVs received, we may not be able to contact all applicants personally.
