BackgroundSTADIO is a private higher education institution with multiple campuses across South Africa and Namibia, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications through contact and distance learning. STADIO's mission is to expand access to quality higher education and to equip graduates with accredited, industry-recognised qualifications. STADIO comprises a variety of academic schools, including administration and management, architecture and engineering, commerce, education, fashion, humanities, information technology, law, media and design, and policing and law enforcement.Key roles and responsibilities:Deliver lectures in the specified areas: Philosophy/African StudiesConduct assessments and moderationDevelop and manage study materials, coordinate modules, and handle academic administrationLead research activities and mark assignments and examsUtilise the Learning Management System (LMS) effectivelyQualifications and experience:Master's degree in Arts with a specialisation in Philosophy or a related field.Proven higher education teaching experience and familiarity with LMS platforms like Canvas.Competency in research databases (e.g., EBSCOhost, myJuta).Strong communication, organisation, presentation, and facilitation skills.Key attributes:Ability to work both independently and in a team, with flexibility to work across different teaching modes.A willingness to work after hours and teach across various Arts and Humanities fields.Application instructions:Candidates should submit a letter of motivation and a concise CV to ******.
