Preschool Teacher 2 at Pagosa Springs TCHS will pay a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for a qualified candidate after six months of completing a CDA program and an additional three months of successful employment. The offer is for external new hires only.

This position serves in a classroom to provide an appropriate social and emotional environment to expand children's ability to learn, grow, and build trusting relationships. This role works in a classroom-based setting with typically and atypically developing children and provides daily supervision and support for children's developmental needs.
Salary: The hourly wage range is $16.71 to $23.71.
Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certificateWilling to obtain CDA within six months of hire. Tri-County Head Start will provide opportunities for training support to get a teacher's qualification, including CDA support and coaching.Criminal background check required for hirePreferred Experience:
Previous experience working in early childhood with children ages birth through five years and holding:A higher education degree OREarly Childhood college coursework, ORA current Preschool CDATCHS supports continuing education toward a BA or AA degree in Early Childhood Education.All positions are open until 10/10/2024 or filled.
