The IIE Vega School, Pretoria Campus has a vacancy for a Part-time Lecturer for February 2025 in the Graphic/Communication Design Discipline. The vacant module is: Introduction to Web Design for Graphic/Communication Designers
Competencies Required: Excellent Communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent Presentation SkillsAssertiveness and dynamismUnderstanding of customer service in educationDemonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively.Online Technology & Communication SkillsEffective Classroom ManagementMinimum Qualification Requirements: NQF Level 8 Qualification in any Visual Design field with Adobe Creative Cloud software skills.Minimum Work Experience Requirements: A professional portfolio demonstrating skills in web design and development is essential.WordPress and Mailchimp skills are considered ideal.Minimum professional practice of 2 years in either lecturing or the field is required.Working Conditions: This is an Independent Contractor role.Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.CVs should be a maximum of two pages.On your covering page, please specify your availability to lecture, as well as the subject areas in which you are qualified to lecture.Provide a motivational letter as well as certified copies of your transcript(s), qualifications, and ID.Where applicable, details of work permit must be included in your application.Owing to the volume of CVs received, we may not be able to personally contact all applicants.
