We are a property asset management company based in Tokai, Cape Town, with retail property assets across South Africa under our management. We are looking for an individual to join our Leasing Administration team at our Head Office.Our company culture is one of ownership, accountability, excellence, teamwork, and active participation in uplifting the communities in which the company operates.Duties & ResponsibilitiesInterpretation and data entry of new leases into MDA for lease information and recurring billing.Interpretation and data entry into MDA of ancillary documentation, such as renewals, amendments, addendums, and terminations.Capturing all information in a timely manner with a focus on accuracy and continuity.Drafting renewal packs, offers to lease, leases, and any supporting leasing documentation timeously and accurately.Working with the team to complete any Area Change Requests for leasing activity that require a unit area change.Understanding the upcoming lease documentation and acting on inputting leasing documents onto MDA to ensure accurate leasing activity.Ensuring that the leasing activity is recorded accurately and in a timely manner to support external reporting requirements.Assisting with the first step in the commission calculations process.Communicating Lease Administration changes to the team as applicable.Providing support to the team when needed.Regularly communicating with and following up with tenants on outstanding documentation including FICA documents.Assisting tenants, other leasing administrators, and Centre Managers to resolve all complex tenant leasing queries.Keeping all tenant and lease files in the filing system updated and current.Assisting with the capturing of turnover figures.Other duties as assigned.This position reports to the Head of Legal.Desired Experience & QualificationPractical and relevant work experience must be demonstrated in the candidate's CV.Contactable references are essential.Retail leasing experience and experience working on MDA will be advantageous.Excellent English language skills (speak, read, write) are required.Having Xhosa and/or Zulu language skills will be advantageous.Attention to detail, ability to work in a team, adhere to company processes, and take initiative when necessary.MS Outlook is essential; the candidate must be able to manage their email well.Well-groomed, neat, flexible, reliable, and organized.Self-motivated.Package & RemunerationMarket related.DisclaimerIf you have not received a response within one month, your application was most likely unsuccessful.
