Leasing Administrator (1-Month Contract)

THE OPPORTUNITY We have an opportunity for a Leasing Administrator to assist our Legal Advisor with the vetting and capturing of the backlog of leases, ensuring accurate vetting and administration of retail lease agreements.  This is an in-office 1-month contract job and you will be based at our Head Office in Stellenbosch.
DUTIES Tasks will be allocated by the Legal Advisor and may include some of the below: Load signed lease agreements and renewal addendums onto the master database.
Manage the property database by ensuring all current documentation is filed in a consistent & standardised manner and all old documentation is removed or archived.
Regularly review/audit the data on the property master file to ensure data integrity.
Assist accounts department with operating expense reconciliations.
Capture all lease agreement terms on the internal database (SAGE) and ensure all data is captured accurately  Assist with the backlog lease agreements and capture all lease agreement terms on the internal database (SAGE)  All other duties as assigned and associated with the day-to-day operation of a commercial real estate portfolio.
REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience (property and/or legal-related work).
Previous experience working with commercial leases.
Basic working knowledge of commercial real estate.
General business and property management acumen.
SAGE Contracts Module experience will be advantageous.
COMPETENCIES Strong computer skills (familiar with Google Workspace).
