Job Title: Lease AdministratorJob SummaryThe Lease Administrator is responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining all lease-related activities for the organization. This includes overseeing lease negotiations, rent collection, lease renewals, and managing lease documentation. The Lease Administrator will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and be able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate lease administration for all properties owned or leased by the organizationReview and analyze lease agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditionsServe as the main point of contact for all landlord and tenant lease-related inquiriesOversee rent and lease payment processing, including rent collection and reconciliationPrepare and maintain accurate lease documentation, including lease abstracts and amendmentsConduct regular property inspections and maintain lease compliance reportsProcess lease renewals and negotiate lease terms and conditions with landlordsCollaborate with legal teams to ensure lease agreements are valid and optimize lease contract termsCoordinate with internal departments, such as accounting and finance, to ensure accurate and timely lease reportingStay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in lease administrationSkills RequiredTyping, computer literacy (Advanced MS Office, Contract Creation & Procurement system), Nicor & SAP; Telephone skills, Administration, Organisational skills.QualificationsMinimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. 3 years relevant experience, directly interfacing with clients and providing general administrative support services.
