Lead Mechanical Engineer

Minimum Qualifications:Must have B.Eng./ BSc in Mechanical Engineering.Experience:Must have over 10 years' experience post qualification in the Building Services Sector.Registration:Must be registered with ECSA as Pr Eng (Compulsory).Advantageous Qualifications:ECSA Fire Registration, ASHRAE, SAIRAC, SAIMECHE are advantageous.Sector Experience:Have experience in designing within the Healthcare Sector specifically - hospitals.Competencies:Be competent in Mechanical design and installations (Wet Services, Fire Services, Medical Services, Compressed Air, Laundry Equipment, etc.).Be competent in tender and bills of quantities compilation and knowledge of various contracts e.g., JBCC, NEC3, etc.Project Management:Must be able to run large size (service value of +50 million) projects comfortably without supervision, including mega size (service value of +R100 million) projects with no supervision at all.Site Experience:Vastly experienced and knowledgeable in doing site inspections & condition assessments and reports.Mentorship:Must have at least 5 years' experience in mentoring other engineers.Other Requirements:Must be willing to travel and work long hours for project requirements.Have a Driver's License (with your own car).
