Description: Under general supervision, acts as a leader of a group of Cafeteria workers, operates a cash register, receives and issues cash, orders and maintains inventory of specific food items.
Typical Duties: Inspects the work of the group and directs corrections as needed;Reports attendance and performance of the group;Receives instructions and interprets them to the members of the group;Identifies and reports defective equipment and supplies;Orders and maintains inventory of specific food items daily;May perform the duties of a Cafeteria Worker;Other related duties as required.Minimum Requirements for Selection: Education: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Experience: Three years related experience.
Other: Ability to lead, ability to handle figures rapidly, ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, considerable public relations skills (courtesy and tact), and may be required to complete a University of Toronto server training program. Successful completion of food safety training.
