Requirements: A three (3) year Diploma or Degree in Policing  A minimum of three (3) years' experience as an Investigator  Completion of a Detective Learning Programme or Resolving of Crime will be an added advantage  Valid Driver's License  Knowledge and understanding of the gambling industry and its governing legislation.  Thorough knowledge of police administration  Knowledge of cyber and /or forensic investigation  Prepared to work under pressure and long hours  Knowledge of Law Enforcement administration procedures  Good communication and public relation skills  Computer skills  No criminal record and/or previous convictions

It is not an exhaustive list and you will therefore be required to undertake other responsibilities and duties that are considered to be commensurate with the position  Investigating Illegal Gambling Activities in the Province  Opening of Dockets and Attending Court  Recording of Information  Keeping a Record of Informer Network Systems  Handling /disposal of exhibits  Assisting other Law Enforcement Agencies to register case files  Testifying in court  Administration of case files.
