Laboratory Analyst

•    Give recommendations to Production on non-conforming product •    Liaise with other departments for proper Quality Control •    Applies Good Laboratory Practices to all Quality Control procedures and tests •    Routinely carry out the required testing on products and raw materials •    Promptly reports all problems regarding procedures, testing and specification •    Responsible for the scheduled internal calibration of all laboratory instruments •    Assist with Product Quality Investigations •    Prepare reagents and laboratory standards and replenish when required •    Organise small samples for test work •    Ensure control of lab consumables •    Participate in Analytical capability studies •    Interns – provide guidance where required •    Mentor junior employees •    Ensure that all applicable SHEQ requirements are adhered to in the QA Lab
