8 hour shifts
£12.10 per hour You will be responsible for: Ensuring that all equipment and the kitchen are cleaned to the set standard.Being aware of the need to use the correct chemicals.Ensuring correct storage of produce.Adhering to food hygiene and health and safety regulations.Preparing and storing food to regulation.Using and storing chemicals correctly.Cleaning the kitchen to standard after service every day.Assisting the chef with all aspects of catering.Conducting daily cleans of all the ward kitchens/serveries.Performing minimum weekly deep cleans of all kitchens and serveries.Washing dishes and utilities and returning them to the correct storage area.Replenishing food store from main stores, including collection of deliveries from the main kitchen.Keeping food store cupboards clean at all times.Ensuring the ward kitchens are cleaned after every meal and that the bin bags are checked and replaced when appropriate.Working under the direction of the head chef or the chef in charge at all times.Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Working alongside the ward staff to ensure the ward kitchens are clean and that catering needs are being met.Ensuring that hot plates arrive on the wards at the appropriate time to allow staff to prepare and serve.Limited interview slots are available, so if you are interested please do not hesitate to contact me.
