We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Kids Club Co Lead/ Assistant Manager to lead our team in providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment for children of all ages.
Your primary responsibility is to execute the day-to-day operations and activities of the kid's club and childcare facilities.
Your role involves assisting the Kids Club Lead with managing staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and creating a positive and engaging environment for both children and parents.
What you'll do:Program Development: Collaborate with the Kids Club Lead in designing, planning, and implementing a diverse range of age-appropriate activities and programs for children, ensuring a balance of education, creativity, and entertainment.Team Leadership: Assist the kids Club Lead with recruiting, managing and training a team of Kids Club team members, including counsellors and activity coordinators.
Foster a positive and nurturing team environment, encouraging creativity and excellence in childcare.Child Safety and well-being: Prioritise the safety and well-being of children participating in Kids Club activities.
Develop and implement safety protocols, including check-in/check-out procedures and emergency response plans in collaboration with the Kids Club Lead.Parent and Guest Communication: Engaging in effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on daily activities and addressing any concerns or questions.
Ensure a welcoming and informative environment for parents at the Kids ClubQuality Control: Monitor and evaluate the quality and success of Kids Club programs regularly.
Implement improvements and adjustments based on feedback from staff, parents, and the Kids Club LeadTraining Development: Assist the Kids Club Lead with ongoing training for Kids Club team members, keeping them updated on best practices in childcare, safety measures, and Dream Hotels & Resorts standards.
Encourage professional growth and skill development among team members.What you'll bring:Child Development Diploma or Certificates, or a related field.Proven experience in working with a kids' program, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in childcare.Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults.Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts and work effectively in a multicultural environment
