We are seeking a Brand Manager for our Johannesburg branch to oversee the Pujadas brand. This role involves driving brand growth and managing customer relationships across various markets. Key responsibilities include lead generation, customer training, ensuring stock availability, and providing regular progress reports. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales and customer service skills, the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels, and proficiency in financial analysis. A relevant degree and extensive experience in brand management are required, along with strategic leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Regular travel is expected.

Main duties will include but will not be limited to: Lead generation and prospecting for the brands.Responsible for the growth of new and current business for this brand.Lead generation through referrals.Schedule and execute training at customer sites and provide regular follow up and refresher training to customers as required.Ensure all customers are adequately stocked at all times.Provide management with weekly progress reports.Plan and execute visits to all existing accounts within and outside of South Africa on a regular basis.Identify, communicate and help resolve any service issues or customer complaintsDevelop close working relationship with customersWork closely with marketing to effectively market and leverage the brandsSupport Key Account Managers with identification and execution of opportunity areasRegularly communicate with procurement on strategic initiativesCustomer visits will entail 70% of time at end users and 30% of time at dealersOther duties as assignedIdeal candidate profile: Exceptional customer service orientation with strong follow-up and feedback skillsStrong sales ability with proven sales track recordProven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisation, coupled with strong people skills.Ability to train and communicate at all levels, including but not limited to company presentation, demonstrations and product knowledge, Strong financial acumen, including but not limited to calculating margins and interpretation of financial reportsReport writing skills and analysis of current sales to identify opportunity areas and feedback to all involved partiesClear, concise written and verbal communication skillsGrooming and appearance to reflect BCE brand equityAbility to inspire and motivate colleaguesExcellent listening skillsCares about the needs of clients and genuinely has a desire to serve themEstablish a rapport and gains trust from customers.Proactive/Problem solverBuilds and maintains relationshipsHonest, trustworthy and has integrityPresentable/ArticulatePerpetual positive attitude and enthusiasmQualifications and experience required: Grade 12 (or equivalent) - EssentialRelevant B Degree / tertiary qualification or an acceptable combination of education and experience - EssentialFive - seven years direct work experience in a similar capacity in the same or similar industries.Three - five years strategic leadership - ability to drive both short and long-term brand growth and profitability.Experience in building and nurturing brands (highly desirable)Driver's license and own reliable vehicleExcellent understanding of market and customerAble to travel regularlyBusiness acumen and good understanding of business processes and functionsStrong work ethic
