A key accounts manager in the manufacturing packaging industry manages and grows key accounts, develops new business, and ensures sales targets are met. They also maintain relationships with customers, identify opportunities for upselling, and collaborate with internal teams. responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, while also identifying opportunities for growth: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Building relationships KAMs are the main point of contact for clients, and are responsible for developing trust and strong relationships with them. Identifying opportunities KAMs look for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing clients. They also identify new business opportunities among existing customers. Strategic planning KAMs develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth. Communication KAMs serve as a link between clients and internal teams, including sales support, supply chain, and product development. They also resolve customer issues and complaints. Reporting KAMs prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders. Industry trends KAMs stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to clients. The Successful Applicant must have A Diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Engineering or a related field. 5 years of experience in Account Management/ Business Development in the industrial/manufacturing sector in tailor-made process is mandatory Previous experiences in the packaging manufacturing industry is a plus. A strong technical interest and curiosity with the willingness to become a technical expert/ partner for the customers. Excellent communication, negotiations and interpersonal skills. A results-driven attitude with a strong passion for sales and a nice drive. Fluent in English both verbal and in writing The ability to work both in team and independently.
