Key Accounts Manager

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key clients in the Asia region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales or marketing, excellent proficiency in English and Mandarin, and a keen understanding of the freight forwarding industry would be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the Asia region. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic plans to expand the customer base. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to enhance service offerings. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. Participate in regular meetings with the operations and logistics teams to align on client needs. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activities, and forecasts. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of a National Senior Certificate or equivalent. A bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field would be advantageous. At least two to three years of experience in sales or marketing. Exposure to the freight forwarding industry is advantageous. Fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
