REQUIREMENTS Matric Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Video Production, Photography, Film OR Compelling demonstrated expertise and enthusiasm for visual storytelling, supported by professional or personal projects Passion for content creation and storytelling 1-2 years of experience in videography and photography preferred Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment, including gimbals Understand key design principles like balance, contrast, alignment, and colour theory for compelling design and videography Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other video editing software Ability to follow directions and implement content guidelines accurately Experience designing content for social media platforms Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Creative with a keen eye for visual composition Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment DUTIES Operate and maintain the Canon R5 mirrorless camera and a variety of video, audio, and lighting gear, including GoPro, Godox, SmallRig and DJI equipment. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines (CI) and marketing objectives. Provide and organise marketing materials such as photos and videos, ensuring everything is on track and assisting the team with any additional marketing tasks outside the core description. Create high-quality digital content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, the company website, in-store promo content, Takealot, Amazon, and in-app content for our various apps. Edit video footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop, adding effects, transitions, and graphics to produce visually appealing content. Plan, shoot, and edit promotional videos, interviews, tutorials, company culture and event coverage, including handling logistics and shot setup. Take advanced-level photographs for marketing materials, with proficiency in DSLR and mirrorless cameras and balancing/operating gimbals effectively. Work with the marketing team to plan an editorial calendar and apply industry and market-driven strategies Ensure all content adheres to brand and communication standards.
