Junior Sous Chef - Luxury Lodge - Grahamstown

Kendrick Recruitment are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join a Luxury property based in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking and a drive to create innovative and delicious dishes.Responsibilities:Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchenPrepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and standardsManage food inventory and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high qualityTrain and supervise junior kitchen staffMaintain a clean and organized kitchenParticipate in menu development and suggest new ideas and techniquesRequirements:At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchenCulinary education or equivalent experienceStrong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniquesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThis is a full-time position and offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
