About the Role:
A dynamic and motivated Junior Sales Representative is sought to join the team. In this role, the candidate will assist in maintaining and developing new and existing customer relationships by selling the company's products and meeting customer needs. The goal is to serve customers excellently, drive sales, and support the expansion of the market presence. The candidate will assist in planning and organising their daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors, ensuring the growth of the customer base and satisfaction of clients.
Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration is a plus;


1 to 2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG;


Valid driver's license;


Basic experience dealing with retail stores;


Ability to speak at least one African language;


Good communication and presentation skills;


Basic knowledge of customer relationship management;


Enthusiastic and performance-driven approach;


Core Competencies:

Role & Responsibilities:


Assist in setting sales targets based on store potential and location;


Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs;


Build and maintain strong customer relationships;


Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts;


Assist in planning and organising daily work schedules to call on sales outlets and trade factors;


Support sales promotions and help drive sales of new products;


Evaluate and identify prospective customers and convert them into clients;


Adjust sales presentations according to the type of sales outlet or trade factor;


Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers;


Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature;


Analyse sales and assist in developing sales action plans;


Help project manage events and promotions;


Monitor competition and gather marketplace information;


Recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on evaluation of results;


Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions;


Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications;


Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales;


Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed;


Maintain and log the company vehicle daily;
