Junior Quality Control Inspector - Masterbatch Man

A well-known masterbatch/colourants and additives manufacturing companyReference: PS010219-RB-1This company provides products to the plastics converting industry and requires a quality control specialist to conduct and communicate quality-control tests and/or inspections of samples supplied from the plastic manufacturing plant through to the laboratory, ensuring that the finished product meets customer needs.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMinimum requirements for the role:Must have a matric certificate, with maths.A diploma is preferred but not essential.Previous experience in a quality control position is preferred but not essential.The company is happy to train a sciences or related graduate into this role who has no work experience.Must have proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills.Previous experience in the plastic, polymer, masterbatch, or related markets is preferred but not essential.Previous research and development experience will prove advantageous.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Conducting and communicating quality-control tests and/or inspections of samples supplied from the manufacturing plant through to the laboratory.Ensuring that the finished goods supplied to the customers meet the company's quality standards and the customer's needs.Communicating effectively with a diverse range of people at different levels of seniority.Managing time and workload based on production planning requirements and/or urgencies.Carrying out procedural quality checks on the manufactured samples.Performing visual inspections of finished goods.Generating quality reports.Package & RemunerationSalary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
