Junior Qa Technician

Umhlanga. A Diploma in Clothing Design or Clothing Management and at least 2 years relevant experience in Clothing Manufacturing or Retail secures a great opportunity with a leading Retail Chain. Sound understanding of garment manufacture, pattern making, fabric, and trims knowledge required.Responsibilities:Lead fit sessions from initial sample through to final production.Ensure clear and concise fit comments are communicated to suppliers.Work with the Buying team to support the fit development process from a technical perspective.Involvement in the onboarding of new suppliers regarding technical standards required.Handle quality, pattern, and grading queries with suppliers.Requirements:Diploma in Clothing Design or Clothing Management.At least 2 years experience in either Retail or Clothing Manufacturing.Understanding of current regulations, legislation, and standards relating to all aspects of clothing manufacture.Experience recognizing and measuring key points on garments.Solid garment making knowledge.Manufacturing and pattern making background advantageous.
