Junior Packhouse Manager

Job Title: Packhouse Supervisor
Join our team as a Packhouse Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our packhouse, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and leading a diverse team of staff.
Minimum Requirements:

Previous experience in a packhouse environment, including preparation and undertaking of audits for retailers
Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and Global GAP accreditation is advantageous
Production and management experience
Computer literacy and ability to work with IT systems and packaging machinery
Meticulous record keeping and health and safety standards
Effective communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage a diverse team of people
Non-smoker

Responsibilities:

Identify and promote staff members who demonstrate a strong work ethic
Minimise non-productive time and incentivise productivity in the pack line
Monitor food safety and security concerns
Train staff in quality control and maintain efficiency of the pack line
Monitor and maintain stock levels of all packaging material
