Responsibilities Assist senior millwrights in performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of machinery and equipment.
Support troubleshooting efforts to identify mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
Help with preventive maintenance tasks to enhance equipment reliability and longevity.
Participate in the assembly and installation of new machinery based on technical specifications.
Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
Adhere to safety regulations and manufacturing protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Gain hands-on experience in operating various tools and safely handling mechanical components.
Requirements South African Citizen Trade Test Based in Durban Some experience or internships in mechanical maintenance or related fields is preferred, but not required.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions closely.
Must be safety-conscious and adhere to all workplace safety standards.
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
