Junior Manager (Shopfloor)

The Junior Manager will be responsible for aspects on the shopfloor of a retail store, which includes assisting the Manager in overseeing sales, staff, inventory and operational & administrative systems and controls. RequirementsNQF 5 Diploma3 years related experience in retail sales with proven track record including supervisory experience (Building Material & Paint) Extensive knowledge of inventory controlAbility to effectively communicate and/or negotiate with high level of proficiencyExcellent MS Office skills and knowledge POS systems Key PerformancesAbility to execute in a diverse environment by building a deep understanding of the company''s products and consumers to develop narratives that translate those concepts to broad consumer audiences and customer experiences.Delivering messaging, communications, and programs that inform, influence, and inspire customers.Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the companys strategy and in support of various brand initiatives to ensure customer growth (value and number).Engage on customer complaints and inquiries.Supervises stock control and pricing policiesAssist the manager in maximizing profitability to meet sales goals and targetsEnsures compliance with safety and health regulationsCompliance with company policies, procedures and processesArranges promotional displays and materialsAbility to supervise a high impact team and collaborate with different stakeholdersBuilding trusting relations and inspire relations amongst the internal and external stakeholders.
