Our client is looking for a Junior Litigation Advisor who will play a pivotal role in the legal investment process, engaging in origination, due diligence, negotiation, and case management. This position is ideal for a driven professional with 2-4 years of experience in legal finance or investment management, who is eager to develop their expertise in the litigation finance sector.
Key Responsibilities: Investment Assessment: Assess the merits of selected cases, evaluating their likelihood of success.Financial Analysis: Analyze the economic aspects of cases, including required investment amounts, stages of investment, expected returns, and potential risks.Negotiate favorable economic terms with external parties, including law firms and other stakeholders.Internal Presentation: Present investment opportunities to the investment committee, providing detailed analyses and recommendations. Engage in iterative discussions to finalize investment decisions.Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage the financial aspects of each case, ensuring alignment with the initial investment plan.Resolution Strategies: Explore and implement strategies for early resolution and alternative dispute resolution where feasible. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in investment management, legal finance, or a related industry.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess litigation case merits and risks.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Knowledge of legal and financial principles related to litigation funding.
